Basic iLocker stuff…

  • /BSU_SHARED is accessible only by individuals possessing a Ball State University user name and password.
  • /WORLD_SHARED is accessible by anyone, anywhere in the world. There is no user name or password required.

To access iLocker on a Mac…

  1. In Finder, select “Go” from the top menu.
  2. Select “Connect to Server” from the drop-down menu.
  3. Server address: http://ilocker.bsu.edu/users/$$$
  4. “$$$” should be replaces by the user name you wish to access. For example, to access Dr. Carter’s iLocker, “$$$” would be replaced by “jcarter2″.

To access iLocker in Windows…

  1. In Microsoft Internet Explorer, enter the server address as if you were opening a Web page.
  2. The server address should be entered in the following format: “http://ilocker.bsu.edu/users/$$$”
  3. “$$$” should be replaces by the user name you wish to access. For example, to access Dr. Carter’s iLocker, “$$$” would be replaced by “jcarter2″.
